that all scripture is the
complete infallible, inspired word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:2)
۩ that God is a trinity in unity
manifested in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. (Matthew
3:16-17, Gen 1:1,26)
۩ that man is created in the image
and likeness of God, but through Adams' transgression, sin came into the
world. (Romans 5:12, Romans 2:23)
۩ that Jesus
Christ was born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:4, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:27)
۩ that salvation is made possible
through the meritorious work of Jesus Christ on the cross, that we are saved
by faith through grace. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9)
۩ that water baptism is by
immersion and is a direct commandment of the Lord for all believers. The
ordinance is symbolic of our identification with Christ in His death, burial
and resurrection. (Matthew 29:19, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12)
۩ that sanctification is a definite
yet progressive work of grace in the life of a believer beginning with the
new birth and consummating at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (2
Corinthians 3:18, 2 Peter 3:18, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14)
۩ in the
ordinance of the Lord's Supper. We neither believe in transubstantiation,
nor consubstantiation, but we believe the Lord is in the communion in a real
and personal way being received by the believer. (1 Corinthians 11:27)
۩ that healing is a part of the
atonement and can be appropriated by faith in Jesus' deeming work. (Acts
10:38, 1 Peter 2:24)
۩ in the baptism of the Holy Spirit
with evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians
14:39)
۩ in the nine gifts of the Spirit
operating through believers today. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Mark 16:17-18)
۩ that one who dies without Christ
is hopelessly and eternally lost destined to a literal hell with no further
opportunity of repentance. (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19-20)
۩ in the resurrection of the just
at the appearing of Christ. We further believe that the righteous dead are
in the presence of God until the resurrection. (1 Corinthians 5:8, 1
Thessalonians 4:16-17)
۩ in the visible
return of Christ and a literal catching away of the Church to meet the Lord
in the air. We believe that no man know the day or the hour of his return.
Let it be stated that we believe in a pre-tribulation catching away of the
elect. (2 Thessalonians 2:7, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
۩ that God calls men and women to
serve in the fivefold ministry and specifically endues the one called with
the talents and abilities peculiar to that office. Under no circumstances
should anyone be set apart to ministry unless the calling is distinct,
evident and confirmed by the Presbyter. (Ephesians 4:8-13, 1 Timothy 3:6,
1 Timothy 5:22, Galatians 3:28)

in tithing, recognizing that
tithing existed before the Law, during the Law and after the Law. Jesus
himself commended the tithe. The writer of Hebrews establishes the tithe as
a New testament practice. Tithing is representative of our personal commitment
to the Lord and is a reflection of our covenant relationship with Him. (Genesis
14:18-20, Malachi 23:10, Matthew 23:23, Hebrews 7:8)
